StabilRoad® technology supports areas with difficult climates with stabilized roads

In 2025, StabilRoad launched road construction and rehabilitation projects in Guyana, South America

In 2025, StabilRoad initiated road construction and rehabilitation projects in Guyana, South America. On February 28, 2025, the World Bank approved a USD 156 million program aimed at upgrading and rehabilitating Guyana’s national road network. The initiative seeks to enhance the resilience of infrastructure against natural hazards, creating a strong demand for advanced stabilization and reinforcement technologies. One of the key challenges in the region is the high water table, which poses significant stress on the durability and performance of road infrastructure. This underlines the critical need for effective stabilization measures in all phases of development. In collaboration with its partners, StabilRoad has successfully entered the Guyanese road construction market and commenced work on the first highway segment.
