Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) is the first and only tri-command of the Indian Armed Forces, located in Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Union Territory of India. It was established in 2001 to protect India&#8217;s strategic interests in Southeast Asia. The climate is tropical monsoon, with strong storms and extremely weak and muddy soil. The initial project was the construction of 90 lane kilometers on the national highway NH 4.
